I have been reviewing my Hedgehog videos for the last few day, I first saw a Hedgehog go into one of my two Hog Houses and initially thought he was making a nest. However I realised that he was actually taking nesting material OUT of one Hog House and INTO the other. He is two videos stitched together of him moving the material…
So I think he is in residence of the second Hog House and not the first as I suspected

Start position
I 'inherited' a formal pond when buying my house about 11 years ago which had 5-6 fish in residence. I have always had a wildlife pond before so I have been waiting (but not hoping) for all the fish to come to the end of their normal life and the last one died during winter 20010/11. I didn't want to disturb the fish before so therefore the pond plants grew how they wanted to and became overgrown. I could now have my wildlife pond, however I always get 15-20 frogs from end of February - early March breeding and therefore didn't want to disturb them or the resulting tadpoles, so I kept off from the pond 'makeover' until mid July.
